Job description

Health For Life Naturopathic Medicine is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our growing integrative medical practice. We are looking for a warm, professional individual who combines exceptional patient service with strong organizational, administrative, and sales skills. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced medical office and is passionate about creating an outstanding patient experience.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and create an exceptional first and last impression.
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage patient communications using our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Educate prospective and existing patients about our services
  • Check patients in and out, process payments, reconcile daily transactions, and schedule follow-up appointments.
  • Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
  • Assist providers and clinical staff with administrative support.
  • Setting up reminders, scanning documents, and documenting interaction with patients.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and exceptional patient satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

  • 2 years of medical office experience is required.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong math and attention to detail skills with the ability to accurately process payments and reconcile transactions.
  • Experience with an EMR system, Microsoft Office, and general office technology.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Hospitality, concierge, or sales experience is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate or bachelor's degree or the Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

Compensation & Schedule

Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

$18–$20 per hour, depending on experience
