Job Summary/Basic Function
Ogden Contemporary Arts' Education & Community Engagement department is looking for an enthusiastic and organized Student Intern to support our arts education programming. This hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience in arts administration and community engagement while working alongside teaching artists, educators, and program staff.
~ Assist in the coordination and delivery of art classes and workshops
~ Provide on-site support to teaching artists and program staff during classes and events
~ Research, gather, and prepare materials and supplies for workshops and programming
~ Maintain and manage inventory lists, tracking supply levels and flagging when restocking is needed
~ Attend and support community workshops, festivals, and special events as needed
~ Help with general program logistics and administrative tasks as assigned
Required Qualifications
~ A student currently enrolled in an arts, education, arts administration, nonprofit management, or related field
~ Passion for the arts and community engagement
~ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
~ Reliable, proactive, and a collaborative team player
~ Comfortable working in a variety of settings- classrooms, community spaces, and outdoor events
~ Ability to lift and transport art supplies as needed
