Job description

J.D. Irving Limited's Sawmills Division is seeking a reliable and motivated individual to fill a part-time Administration / Shipping position at the Kedgwick Sawmill.


This position is intended to provide coverage for administrative and shipping personnel during vacations, leaves, training, and other absences. The successful candidate will act as a key resource to ensure the continuity of administrative and operational activities when required.


We are looking for a versatile, self-motivated, and organized individual who enjoys working in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.

    Post-secondary diploma in administration, office administration, secretarial studies, logistics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    2 to 5 years of experience in an administrative, shipping, logistics, or customer service role is considered an asset.
    Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
    Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
    Strong communication and customer service skills.
    Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
    Bilingualism (French and English) is considered an asset.

    Prepare and process shipping documentation and track deliveries.

    Maintain administrative and employee records and perform certain payroll and human resources-related tasks.
    Process parts and supply orders, invoices, and purchasing documents.
    Assist with inventory tracking and various administrative controls.
    Welcome visitors and provide professional customer service.
    Perform other related duties as required to support site operations.
