Administration Paralegal Jobs in Indiana (NOW HIRING)

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Paralegal to support our Attorneys with the administration of Guardianship and Probate matters from appointment through closing. In this role, you’ll independently manage key aspects of cases, including preparing documents for a variety of transactions, communicating with clients and various business and legal entities, managing Guardianship and Probate administration from start to finish, and providing excellent customer service.

Successful candidates will have the ability to individually manage the cases from start to finish, including drafting and organizing court and financial documents, conducting asset collection and valuation, facilitating meetings, and communicating effectively with clients, banks, insurance companies, and other stakeholders. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple competing tasks and deadlines are essential.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing deadlines, client communications, and financial documentation while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

Applicants must be comfortable preparing, proofreading, and filing legal documents and correspondence to ensure accuracy and timely communication. Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma, a paralegal degree or certificate, and 2–5 years of experience as a paralegal in the estate planning field. Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to understand and maintain confidential information are key to success in this role. Research skills and the ability to interpret financial documents are preferred.

$40,000 - $55,000 yearly

• Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions, court personnel, and other legal professionals regarding Probate, Guardianship, and various estate administration matters
• Prepare and file probate-related court forms and administrative documents
• Draft pleadings and filings, including petitions, inventories, accounts, and closing documents
• Draft correspondence to clients, courts, counsel, and third parties
• Maintain organized electronic and paper files and monitor all legal deadlines
• Gather, review, and organize documents related to the client’s estate
• Open, review, and follow up on mail related to client matters
• Prepare estate accountings, including detailed itemization of receipts and expenditures and reconciliation of balances
• Prepare deeds and related real estate documents as part of estate administration and Guardianship appointment
• Enter and maintain accurate client information regarding assets, income, and debts
• Conduct occasional courthouse filings and document deliveries
• Assist with and participate in client conferences as needed

• At least 3 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting
• Candidates who have completed a paralegal professional certification or have advanced paralegal education will receive preference
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Must have great time-management skills, and organizational skills
• ABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor’s degree desired

• Minimum of 2 years of Guardianship and Probate legal experience preferred OR 2+ years of experience in estate planning (paralegal or legal assistant)
• Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Exceptional client service and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with legal case management software is a plus
• Familiarity with Probate and Guardianship procedures within the Indiana court system is strongly preferred
