Data Entry Specialist The Data Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining purchasing and sales information in the company's systems. This role supports inventory management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reporting functions by ensuring that all purchase orders, sales orders, invoices, and related records are entered promptly and accurately.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Enter purchase orders, vendor invoices, sales orders, and customer invoices into the company database or ERP system.
  • Verify the accuracy of pricing, quantities, product codes, and customer/vendor information.
  • Maintain and update inventory records based on purchase and sales transactions.
  • Review documents for completeness and follow up on missing or incorrect information.
  • Process order adjustments, returns, credits, and corrections as needed.
  • Reconcile purchase and sales records with supporting documentation.
  • Generate reports related to purchases, sales, inventory, and order activity.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end reporting activities.
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems.
  • Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding order discrepancies and data corrections.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and data entry standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education amp; Experience
