Chรฉrie Amour is looking for a Payroll, HR & Business Administrator to join our team. Our office is located in the heart of downtown Pullman, home of the WSU Cougars.
We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented person to help support the day-to-day administrative and financial operations of our company.
This is a varied position that works across several areas of the business, including accounting support, payroll, employee administration, and general business operations. The ideal candidate enjoys staying organized, solving problems, learning new things, and helping keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
Responsibilities And Goals
  • Assist with day-to-day accounting and administrative activities.
  • Payroll processing and administration.
  • Assist with accounts payable and company payments.
  • Maintain accurate financial and business records.
  • Assist with bookkeeping and account reconciliations.
  • Maintain employee, contractor, and vendor records.
  • Assist with employee benefits and general HR administration.
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding.
  • Assist with tax reporting and other business compliance requirements.
  • Track recurring deadlines, payments, filings, and administrative responsibilities.
  • Communicate with employees, vendors, service providers, and other business partners as needed.
  • Research and help resolve payroll, accounting, billing, and administrative issues.
  • Maintain organized documentation and company records.
  • Assist with improving internal processes and procedures.
  • Provide administrative support to the Accounting & Finance Manager and company leadership.
  • Assist with additional business and operational projects as needed.

Experience And Requirements
  • Previous experience in business administration, accounting support, bookkeeping, payroll, office administration, or a similar position.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong time-management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable working with numbers and financial information.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
  • Ability to research unfamiliar issues and work toward solutions.
