Job description

Position: Administrative Assistant

Reports to: Assistant General Manager

Employee Type: Full-Time; Non-Exempt

Location: Duluth, GA

Pay Range: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour, depending on experience


Summary:

The Administrative Assistant supports the Office Manager with clerical duties, customer communication, and coordination with delivery teams, field employees, and GE representatives.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Make outbound calls to customers to schedule deliveries.

• Field inbound calls from customers, delivery teams, and GE representatives.

• Maintain accurate records of scheduled deliveries and service requests.

• Assist with general office tasks, such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.

• Support communication between office staff, warehouse staff, and field employees.

• Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions.

• Coordinates and schedules travel, meetings, and appointments for managers or supervisors.

• Prepares agendas and schedules for meetings.

• Records and distributes minutes or other records for meetings.

• Maintains office supplies and coordinates maintenance of office equipment.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, not required.


Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.

• Previous administrative or customer service experience preferred.


Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times

• Corrected vision to normal range; normal hearing and talking is required for verbal communications

• Ability to use a variety of office equipment and machines
