Data Analyst Profile: Data Platform Admin, Dataiku

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to frame problems, translate business needs into analytical questions, and define success metrics.
  • Organize data into different data structures to solve business questions.
  • Perform data analysis, transformation, cleansing and calculations on business data using Dataiku.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and ad hoc analyses using Power BI.
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities in datasets to inform decision-making.
  • Perform data profiling and ensure data quality, completeness, and trustworthiness.
  • Work closely with data stewards to ensure data definitions and standards are applied across domain.
  • Maintain documentation of datasets, business rules, and KPIs to enable reuse and transparency.
  • Adopt and promote the use of standardized datasets, tools, and visualization patterns established by the Analytics Center of Excellence.
  • Actively participate in domain working groups and Communities of Practice to share learnings and drive analytic maturity.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
  • Proficiency in SQL and one or more BI tools - Power BI, etc.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and perform complex joins, aggregations, and transformations.
  • Strong critical thinking, data storytelling, and communication skills.
  • Experience working with business stakeholders to deliver insights aligned with KPIs and strategy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Snowflake.
  • Experience in Dataiku for data manipulation and modeling.
  • Understanding of data governance concepts, such as data lineage, stewardship, and quality frameworks.
  • Exposure to Agile ways of working and experience working within federated analytics environments.
