Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements Management
  • Participate in the demand management process to assist business units in developing business cases, defining project scope, and documenting requirements for new systems or enhancements to existing systems.
  • Gather, analyze, validate, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
  • Translate business needs into clear solution requirements and technical documentation.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions.
  • Identify business process inefficiencies, operational pain points, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Develop and document: Business process workflows, Current and future state analyses, User stories and use cases, Functional and system requirements, System interaction diagrams, Data mappings and logical data models, Metadata documentation, Screen mockups and wireframes, Reporting and training requirements, Test cases and acceptance criteria
  • Ensure requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and validate that business requirements have been successfully implemented.

IT Procurement & Vendor Support
  • Support the development of Statements of Work (SOW), solicitation documents, procurement packages, and related artifacts.
  • Primarily support IT acquisitions involving software, hardware, professional services, or technology solutions.
  • Assist in gathering documentation and information from vendors, contractors, and business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Legal, Security, and technical teams to support vendor evaluations and procurement activities.

SDLC & Project Support
  • Participate in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities and transition requirements to development and project teams.
  • Collaborate & support documented requirements with project managers, architects, developers, QA testers, and business teams throughout project execution under the guidance of the IT BA Manager.
  • Assist project managers with stakeholder coordination.
  • Communicate business requirements and priorities to technical implementation teams.
  • Create diagrams, charts, specifications, and supporting artifacts to guide/support development and solution design.
  • Provide status updates, maintain weekly work logs, and update assigned work tickets.
  • Develop task estimates and target completion dates for project schedules and work management activities.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ Years Experience working as an IT Business Analyst supporting IT projects, system implementations, or technology procurements.
  • 5+ Years Strong understanding of business/data process analysis methodologies and SDLC processes.
  • 5+ Years Experience facilitating stakeholder meetings, workshops, and JAD sessions.
  • 5+ Years Ability to gather, document, and manage complex business, data, and functional requirements.
  • 5+ Years Experience developing process flows, workflow diagrams, and functional specifications.
  • 5+ Years Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • 5+ Years Ability to work collaboratively with business and technical stakeholders.
  • 5+ Years Experience supporting procurement documentation, vendor coordination, or contract-related activities is preferred.
  • 5+ Years Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies is preferred.
  • 5+ Years Documenting AS IS & TO BE Process & User Interface Mockups.
  • 5+ Years Experience in developing statements/scope of work for contracting and procurement.
  • 5+ Years Experience managing multiple projects/tasks at once; Results oriented and highly organized.
  • 5+ Years Experience in Strong interviewing, active listening, communication, presentation, moderating meetings, and interpersonal skills
