Rate: DOE
Interview Mode: 1-2 rounds (video required)
currently seeking a Kafka Administrator for an onsite position with a Global Financial Institution located in Chandler, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
This role focuses on the operational support and administration of a large-scale Kafka infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining the stability of production and non-production environments, including handling incident management, change requests, and system builds.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform operational activities which includes administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, change requests and builds
  • Provide Problem, Incident, Change and Request management support for the application using these platforms
  • Triage, service restoral, facilitation and coordination of root cause identification and permanent fix resolution
  • Responsible to handle the Kafka infrastructure and break fix the issues occurred in Production and Non-Production
  • Responsible to handle Changes in the Kafka Infrastructure
  • Build new Kafka servers and configure Kafka patching and fix packs
  • Work on Kafka monitoring tools
  • TLS upgrades and installation in prod and non-prod infrastructure

Requirements:
  • Ability to analyze the root cause and follow the ways to providing the permanent fix
  • Familiar in handling client calls and customer issues
  • Knowledge on complex clustered Environment
  • Good hands on Production environment to handle issues
  • Experience resolving critical issues on the fly
  • Ability to support application teams around messaging functionalities
  • Excellent communication skills both written & spoken
