POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Hanwha Qcells is seeking a strategic, hands-on expert of Global Compensation & Workforce Planning to strengthen how the Technology Group attracts, rewards, and plans for specialized Technology R&D and Engineering talent across the United States, Germany, Korea, and India. This role combines global compensation expertise, job architecture, workforce analytics, and executive-ready reporting. The successful candidate will translate market data and fragmented workforce information into clear recommendations, scalable frameworks, and better talent decisions while partnering with Technology Group HR, business leadership, Finance, Corporate Planning, and regional and headquarters HR teams. This position will be based in Atlanta, Georgia and be part of our Global Technology HR team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Global Compensation and Job Architecture
  • Lead compensation s tra tegy, market analysis, and annual planning for Technology Group roles, with primary responsibility for the United States and Germany and expanding support for India and Korea.

  • Benchmark base salary, short- and long-term incentives, total rewards, and recognition programs against relevant external markets and talent competitors.

  • Build and maintain a common technology job architecture and career framework that aligns roles and levels across regional structures.

  • Partner with Technology Group HR, regional HR, and headquarters compensation teams on offers, promotions, retention actions, pay adjustments, and cross-border talent moves.

  • Identify market, internal equity, and retention risks and convert findings into practical, data-supported recommendations for HR and business leaders.

Workforce Planning, Analytics, and Reporting
  • Own the Technology Group HR planning calendar, including compensation-to-market, succession and leadership planning, and workforce planning deliverables.

  • Create standardized headcount reporting and dashboards; lead reconciliation across Workday, payroll, Finance, and other sources to improve data quality and reduce manual work.

  • Develop executive-ready workforce analyses and headquarters reporting while coordinating global HR milestones and supporting cross-regional HR initiatives.

S tra tegic Partnership and HR Programs
  • Advise on compensation, workforce scenarios, market research, and HR planning, leading to strong talent investment decisions.

  • Develop decision materials and leadership presentations that tra nslate complex data into concise business recommendations.

  • Lead or support cross-regional HR projects that improve scalability, consistency, and the employee value proposition.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources , Business, Finance, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in compensation, total rewards, workforce planning, HR analytics, or a related HR discipline within a multinational organization.

  • Demons tra ted experience benchmarking compensation across multiple countries, including at least one non-U.S. labor market.

  • Experience building or managing job architecture, career frameworks, or leveling structures across geographies.

  • Advanced analytical skills, including the ability to reconcile large datasets and communicate findings accurately to senior stakeholders.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and experience working with HRIS platforms.

  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and influence across a complex, cross-cultural matrix.

  • Clear written and verbal communication, sound judgment, and strong stakeholder management skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience supporting R&D, engineering, technology, energy, or advanced manufacturing organizations.

  • Experience with European compensation markets; DACH-region knowledge is particularly valuable.

  • Knowledge of German compensation practices and employment requirements, or demons tra ted ability to build expertise quickly.

  • Experience with long-term incentive design or adminis tra tion.

  • Experience working within a Korean or Japanese multinational governance environment.

  • Workday experience; Sage or comparable applicant tra cking system experience; CCP or GRP certification.

COMPENSATION:
In accordance with applicable pay transparency laws, the anticipated annual base salary for this position is:
  • Zone 1 (SF, NY): $208,100 - $254,300

  • Zone 2 (Irvine): $190,700 - $233,100

  • Zone 3 (Atlanta) ): $173,400 - $211,900

The applicable salary range is based on the employee's primary work location. Individual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, relevant experience, education, skills, internal equity, and other business-related factors.
