Job description

This role combines e-commerce management, administrative support, and reporting responsibilities to ensure smooth online operations and informed decision-making for finance and sales leadership.

Key Responsibilities

E-commerce Operations:

  • Manage day-to-day online store activities, including product listings, pricing updates, promotions, and inventory coordination 
  • Implement marketing strategies to drive traffic, conversions, and customer engagement 
  • Monitor website performance, analyze sales data, and generate insights to optimize online revenue 
  • Collaborate with marketing, customer service, and logistics teams to ensure seamless online operations 
    Administrative Support:
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Director of Finance and Sales Operations, including scheduling, correspondence, and document management.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and operational processes.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and internal communications.
    Reporting and Analysis:
  • Prepare regular reports on e-commerce performance, sales trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the director 
  • Track financial metrics related to online sales, including revenue, margins, and customer acquisition costs.
  • Support data-driven decision-making by providing actionable insights and recommendations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in e-commerce management, online retail, or digital marketing 
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in reporting tools (Excel, Google Analytics, ERP systems).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
  • Familiarity with administrative processes and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of SEO, digital marketing, and e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) is a plus 

Reporting Structure

  • Reports directly to the Director of Finance and Sales Operations.
  • Works closely with marketing, customer service, and IT teams to ensure alignment of e-commerce strategies with overall business objectives 

Work Environment

  • In Office-based position.
  • May require occasional collaboration with external vendors or attendance at industry events.
    This role ensures that e-commerce operations run efficiently while providing the director with accurate, timely insights to support strategic financial and sales decisions.
