Job Description Performance Management Lead - Decatur, ILThis is an exempt level position reporting though the Plant Improvement organizationThe Performance Management Lead should be a subject matter expert of all financial aspects of operations, including operating costs and KPIs management. The performance management lead should take a leadership role in improving the plant's cost position. This colleague is a critical link between the operations and commercial/finance teams, is important stakeholder and owner of the financial plan, and a key member of the operations leadership team. The responsibilities of the performance management lead include:Leading the preparation of the annual financial plan for operating the plant, business or regionEngage with plant, E2E finance and external stakeholders on setting benchmarks for operating cost. Coordinate all input for financial planAccountably own and coordinate planning non-financial KPIs such as OEE, usages and utilities. Train, coordinate and assist operations teams on the planning processIn partnership with plant controller, leading the plant cost analysis efforts and variance review process, with a view towards driving actions and value creation, and contributing to updated forecasts in alignment with finance teamsTake a lead role in leveraging performance management tools for review & response processAnalyze performance gaps and highlight areas of opportunity by mining PI data, Maximo data, accounting reports, and power BI reportsWork with plant controlling to explain cost anomaliesPromote accountability of financial and operational KPIs among plant/regional leadership via coaching and follow-upSupporting plant improvement, supply chain and capex teams where needed by:Leading OEE planning and analysisSupporting supply chain management on production planning.
