Job Description
The Honors Program invites applications for adjunct faculty positions to teach Honors seminars during the 2025-26 and/or 2026-27 academic years. We seek applicants to teach seminar-style electives in the following areas, which align with La Verne's General Education requirements: Creative Expression (Creative and Artistic Expression Interdisciplinary Seminar, HONR 351), Life Sciences (Life Science Interdisciplinary Seminar, HONR 321), or Physical Sciences (Physical Science Interdisciplinary Seminar, HONR 322). These courses can be on a subject of the applicant's choice, but should be advanced in their content, accessible to non-majors, & interdisciplinary in approach. Required Qualifications
MA or PhD degree, demonstrated teaching experience, and demonstrated ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students.
