The College of Business and Public Management at the University of La Verne invites applications for adjunct instructor positions on the La Verne Campus. We seek faculty colleagues to join adjunct faculty in educating students in the MBA, MBAX, MSLM, MS Accounting, MS Finance, MS Data Analytics, DBA, and other programs. We appreciate and encourage applicants with diverse backgrounds and professional experiences to apply.
The subject areas are expected to include the following: Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, Marketing including digital marketing and marketing data analytics, Operations Management, Informational Technology, Management including human resources management, and Quantitative Analysis. Accounting instructors need a CPA license.
Selected candidates will be contacted for further processing. Selected qualified candidates will be added to the adjunct faculty pool and a course may be assigned if one becomes available later.
Required Qualifications
  • Earned master's degree in the subject area.
  • A minimum of five years of managerial experience after the master's degree.
  • A commitment to and experience working with diverse student populations and communities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Earned doctorate in the subject area.
  • Previous teaching experience, mentoring experience, and/or professional-level presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with educational technology and learning management systems like Blackboard.
