Job description

Senior Operations Research Analyst

This position will support the AFSC Consolidated Sustainment Activity Group Supply resources in the performance of financial, technical, analytical and reporting activities required for Air Force budget and asset management.

The individual in this role will provide requirements, identify risks/run reports utilizing Information Systems Management Tool (ISMT) J041/ADIS Acquisition Due in System and J018R/CIDS (Contracting Information Database System. Process new and updated Jira issues in ISMT, create reports and record them in the Tracker.

Additionally, this individual will conduct various types of specialized cost, schedule, technical, performance and program data research efforts in support of the AFSC mission. Will conduct analytical investigations, develop analysis methods and techniques. These efforts shall include data collection/normalization and analysis; development of estimating relationships; development of, or calibration of, models, queries, statistical process control tools, supply processes, procedures/operations and cost growth factor analysis of weapons system supply support programs. Will be responsible for the technical and statistical validity of studies, advice AFSC metrics personnel of the results and implications of studies for which responsible particularly in relation to advances in scientific knowledge and techniques in fields applicable to performance measurement of the supply chain program.
