Job description

Who we are looking for:

The Regional Sales Support owns a portfolio of wholesale dealer accounts within an assigned geographic territory. You are the primary ACV point of contact for your dealers, combining hands-on sales engagement with strategic account management to drive sell-side volume, retain and grow dealer relationships, and optimize dealer performance on the ACV platform. You operate with a high degree of autonomy, setting your own priorities across your book of business and tailoring your approach to each dealer's needs and circumstances. You coordinate across ACV's field, operations, and buyer teams to deliver a consistent dealer experience.

What you will do:

  • Manage a defined book of seller accounts, developing account-level strategies based on each dealer's inventory profile, selling patterns, and business objectives

  • Drive sell-side volume by advising dealers on pricing strategy, listing timing, reserve levels, Guarantee Sale participation, and platform best practices

  • Re-engage dormant and declining sellers by diagnosing the causes of inactivity and developing tailored outreach strategies to restore consistent selling cadence

  • Vet and onboard new sellers through TM referrals and VCI leads; set expectations, walk dealers through the listing process, and manage post-sale follow-up

  • Manage unlaunched Condition Report outreach by contacting sellers on idle CRs, assessing the reason for delay, and advising on next steps

  • Analyze the Weekly Sales Directive, Previous Day Unsold data, and regional marketplace analytics to identify account-level opportunities and prioritize daily activities

  • Lead or participate in Previous Day Unsold reviews; advise sellers on competitive floor pricing and relaunch strategy

  • Provide dealmaking coverage, including evening availability, to keep transactions moving when field bandwidth is limited

  • Coach sellers approaching Special Deal tier thresholds by sharing data-driven context and recommending strategies to reach the next tier

  • Advise dealers on ACV products including ACV Pro, Guarantee Sale, Special Deals, and ClearCar, recommending adoption based on each dealer's business model

  • Coordinate with Territory Managers and VCIs to align field activities with your account priorities and share dealer intelligence

  • Serve as the liaison between your dealer accounts and Operations Support, Buyer Development, If-Bid, and Major Accounts teams

  • Document all dealer interactions and account strategies in Salesforce

  • Evaluate account progression within the dealer lifecycle, identifying accounts ready to transition to field-supported coverage and coordinate handoffs to maintain the dealer relationship

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

What you will need:

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • 4+ years of inside sales, automotive wholesale, dealership operations, or closely related experience
  • Proven ability to build relationships over the phone — consultative, persuasive, and skilled at creating urgency without burning trust
  •  Strong organizational discipline: you track your accounts, follow up consistently, and don't let high-priority contacts go cold
  •  Comfort with data: you can read a sales directive, interpret unsold and unlaunched reports, and translate numbers into dealer-facing talking points
  • CRM proficiency (Salesforce preferred) and fluency with digital communication and reporting tools
  • Collaborative mindset — you thrive in a team-of-teams environment and view field alignment as a performance multiplier
  • Hands-on experience with ACV Auctions, Manheim, ADESA, or another wholesale vehicle remarketing platform
  • Familiarity with ACV products including ACV Pro, Guarantee Sale, Special Deals, and ClearCar
  • Background supporting or working alongside field sales teams in an inside or hybrid capacity
  • Experience in automotive F&I, used car management, or dealer-facing customer success
