  • Monday-Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., 40 hours per week
  • Full Time, Temporary (12-months)
  • Location East Mesa

What you’ll be doing
This position will support environmental compliance and inventory efforts through both office-based data management and field verification activities.
You will be responsible for…

  • Utilize ArcGIS and Excel to review, categorize, and maintain environmental compliance inventory records
  • Conduct field verification activities in accordance with approved ADEQ methods and procedures
  • Update and maintain accurate records, maps, and documentation
  • Perform inspections and verify utility or environmental asset information in the field
  • Coordinate with internal departments and project teams regarding inventory updates and compliance data
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency between field observations and system records
  • Follow safety procedures and environmental compliance standards during field activities
  • Performs related duties as required

What skills & experience you’ll bring to us

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Two years of college level coursework, including 12 credit hours of environmental, physical, or biological science coursework may substitute for one year of required work experience.
  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to three years’ technical experience in water resources (water or environmental quality, wastewater systems, water/wastewater treatment, industrial pretreatment, water distribution, backflow, stormwater, etc.).
  • Must possess a valid Class D Arizona Driver's License by hire date.
