Job description

DIESEL FLEET MECHANICS NEEDED (2nd & 3rd Shifts)
Cicero, NY | Full Time | $27 to $34 per hour (includes a “Shift Differential”)
Are you a mechanic who wants steady work, OT opportunities, and the chance to work on a full fleet instead of doing the same repair every day?
A well-established local beverage distribution center is looking for Diesel Mechanics to join its transportation maintenance team… and we are looking for the right people to join our team!
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Diagnose, repair and maintain a fleet of approximately 50 trucks
• Perform PMs, engine, transmission, brake and other repairs
• Use diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and identify issues
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

PLEASE DO NOT APPLY WITHOUT THESE LISTED MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS.
• Mechanics with diesel, truck, automotive, heavy equipment/yellow iron or even farm equipment experience (2+ years of mechanic experience preferred)
• Own your own tools
• Valid New York State driver's license and be able to operate company vehicles (CDL A is not required)
• Ability to pass drug testing, (including THC)
SHIFT HOURS (with “some” flexibility)
2nd Shift: Approximately 2pm to 10/10:30pm (includes a $3 per hour shift differential)
3rd Shift: Approximately 9:30pm to 6am (includes a $4 per hour shift differential)
Employees are guaranteed 40 hours, with OT available when needed. Weekend work is not normally required.
WHAT'S OFFERED:

  • $24 to $30 per hour based on experience… PLUS a Shift differential of $3 - $4/hour with plenty of OT opportunities.
