Job Summary
The Maintenance / Facilities Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving the functionality, safety, and appearance of assigned facilities and equipment. This role supports daily operations by performing preventive maintenance, responding to repair needs, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate is hands-on, dependable, and experienced in general building maintenance within an industrial or warehouse environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on building systems, equipment, and grounds
  • Troubleshoot and repair facility-related issues including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and carpentry needs
  • Maintain warehouse and production equipment as assigned
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair situations
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify safety hazards or maintenance needs
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors as needed
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and inventory of tools and supplies
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, local, and state safety regulations
  • Support improvement projects, facility upgrades, and general upkeep
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or building operations
  • Working knowledge of general building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, basic mechanical)
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
