Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
  • Home support (light housekeeping, vacuuming, dusting, washing dishes)
  • Light meal prep and serving meals
  • Accompanying the consumer to appointments when approved
  • Grocery shopping, or other errands when approved
  • Providing companionship and stimulation for the consumer (reading, walks)

Qualifications:

  • Must complete the agency's employment process
  • Criminal background check
  • Reliable transportation
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and well-organized
  • Must exhibit maturity, responsible behavior, & maintain consumer confidentiality
  • Must be able to follow directions and work as a team
  • 3 references (2 professional, 1 personal)
