Position Summary
Mayzo is seeking a Corporate Account Manager with a strong background in adhesives and sealants to drive new business development and manage key customer relationships across the Eastern region. This role is highly focused on hunting new opportunities, expanding market share, and delivering customized additive solutions within adhesive applications. The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical knowledge and commercial acumen, with the ability to translate customer needs into value-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Drive New Business and Growth Oriented
    • Identify, target, and win new business within the adhesives and sealants market
    • Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans
    • Build a robust pipeline through prospecting, networking, and industry engagement
  • Account Management
    • Manage and grow existing key accounts while expanding product penetration
    • Strengthen long-term customer relationships and uncover cross-selling opportunities
  • Technical Sales & Solution Development
    • Collaborate with customers on formulation challenges and performance improvements
    • Recommend additive solutions (e.g., antioxidants, UV stabilizers, photoinitiators, etc.)
    • Partner with internal technical and product teams to deliver tailored solutions
  • Market Intelligence
    • Monitor industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies in adhesives
    • Provide insights to support product development and strategic direction
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with marketing, product management, and operations teams
    • Support product launches and commercialization efforts

Qualifications

  • 515+ years of experience in adhesives, polymers, or specialty chemicals
  • Proven success in new business development
  • Strong understanding of adhesive formulations and additive technologies
  • Ability to travel 5060% within US and Canada
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Preferred Experience
  • Experience selling into CASE markets (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, Elastomers)
  • Existing network within adhesives manufacturers or formulators
  • Background working with specialty additives or raw materials
  • Salesforce and CRM, and Microsoft Products
