Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate the needs and challenges of patients in detox.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based interventions tailored to the unique circumstances of each patient.
• Administer therapeutic interventions while monitoring the progress and adapting strategies to ensure an effective recovery journey.
• Keep accurate clinical records and documentation, adhering to all regulatory standards and best practices.
• Engage collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated and integrated care, participating in regular case consultations and peer reviews.
• Educate and empower patients and their families about mental health and recovery processes through workshops and counseling sessions.
• Stay informed of the latest research, trends, and practices in mental health and detox treatment to enhance patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing substance use disorders who are in need of detoxification services. This population often faces various co-occurring mental health challenges, requiring a comprehensive and compassionate approach to address their specific needs. You will play a crucial role in supporting patients through the detox process, providing empathetic counseling and strategies to achieve long-term recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Virginia is mandatory.
• At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience working specifically in mental health or addiction settings is essential.
• Proficiency in utilizing solution-focused clinical interventions pertinent to substance abuse treatment.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to solve problems creatively.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in detox or substance use treatment facilities is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
