• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to accurately evaluate clients’ substance abuse histories and overall mental health status.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to address both addiction and any co-occurring mental health disorders.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
• Collaborate with fellow treatment team members, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nursing staff, to ensure an integrated and holistic approach to care.
• Provide educational resources and support to clients’ families, enhancing involvement in the recovery process and fostering a supportive home environment.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Your work will directly impact individuals struggling with addiction, many of whom also experience co-occurring mental health conditions. These clients come from diverse backgrounds and require tailored therapeutic strategies and engagement tactics to foster recovery. As a licensed mental health counselor, you will champion their journeys by providing compassionate care and innovative treatment solutions.

• A valid and active professional license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD in the state of Pennsylvania.
• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in addiction counseling principles and practices.
• Strong therapeutic and motivational skills, with the ability to foster trust and resilience among clients.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills capable of working effectively within a team environment.

• Previous experience working in substance abuse treatment settings, particularly within community health clinics.
• Knowledge of best practices for addressing co-occurring disorders.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and client management.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and professional credentials.
