This position is primarily remote, allowing flexibility in your schedule to meet the varying needs of our clients. As a member of our virtual team, you will collaborate closely with a diverse group of healthcare professionals, including social workers, psychologists, and other licensed therapists, to deliver integrated care that addresses both substance use and underlying mental health issues.

• Conduct detailed assessments and screenings to determine clients' substance abuse histories and mental health status, using standardized tools to tailor treatment strategies.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that prioritize both addiction recovery and mental wellness, ensuring holistic support for each client.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions employing proven techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI) to help clients develop coping skills.
• Collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care, share insights, and ensure comprehensive service delivery for clients.
• Offer guidance and educational resources to the families of clients, increasing their understanding of the recovery process and how to support their loved ones effectively.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards, ensuring compliance with all ethical guidelines.

This role will specifically focus on clients grappling with substance abuse disorders, which may be compounded by co-occurring mental health issues. You will work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, each with unique experiences and challenges. This diversity enriches the counseling process and provides an opportunity for personalized, empathic care.

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Clinical Social Worker (MSW Clinical), Psychologist, or equivalent.
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field; however, candidates with master's degrees or higher in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related disciplines will be prioritized.
• Knowledgeable in evidence-based practices for substance abuse and mental health disorders, demonstrating the ability to effectively apply these in therapeutic settings.

• A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience working with clients dealing with addiction and related mental health issues.
• Experience in telehealth services is highly advantageous, as our team employs virtual platforms to provide high-quality care.
• Familiarity with specific therapeutic models and approaches used in substance abuse treatment.

• Annual salary in the range of $70,000 to $85,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
