This full-time position is designed for flexibility, allowing therapists to adjust their schedules to accommodate clients in various time zones, including evenings and weekends when necessary. As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist in our addiction treatment program, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance abuse histories and co-occurring mental health conditions, ensuring precise diagnosis and effective treatment plans.
• Developing tailored treatment plans that not only target addiction but also address underlying mental health issues, utilizing empathic engagement and proven methodologies.
• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing to empower clients toward recovery.
• Collaborating with fellow treatment team members, including psychiatrists, social workers, and peer support specialists, to ensure a unified and integrated approach to patient care.
• Educating clients' families about the recovery process and providing resources for effective support, enhancing the overall rehabilitation environment.
• Maintaining detailed and accurate records of client interactions and progress, adhering to regulatory and ethical standards, while ensuring confidentiality is prioritized.

This role primarily focuses on individuals struggling with substance abuse disorders, many of whom may also experience co-occurring mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, or trauma. Your clinical expertise and dedication will be vital in guiding these clients through their recovery journeys, understanding their unique challenges, and celebrating their successes.

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A current and valid license as an LCMFT, LCPC, LCP, LCSW, LSCSW, or PsyD.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

While not mandatory, the ideal candidate will have:

• Specialized training or significant experience in addiction counseling, including familiarity with treatment methodologies for substance abuse.
• A strong understanding of evidence-based practices related to substance use disorders and the complexities of co-occurring mental health issues.
• Demonstrated capacity for effective communication, patient rapport-building, and teamwork within a clinical setting.
