Job description

Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is currently seeking a Full-Time 2nd Shift Addiction Recovery Assistant to add to our team of professionals. This position is based at our SUD residential hub at Stepping Stone and will also work shifts at our other SUD residential programs at Stepping Forward. All locations are in Evansville.

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR?

  • Take inquiries, complete the necessary paperwork for admissions, and maintain charts.
  • Monitor vital signs.
  • Complete required documentation.
  • Facilitate educational classes.
  • Facilitate drug and alcohol testing.
  • Provide supportive services to clients.
  • Provide for a safe and secure environment for clients.
  • Supervise client activities.
  • Transport clients to activities.
  • Attend to housekeeping duties as necessary.

WHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?

  • High school diploma or GED required. 
  • Work schedule:  40 hours per week 2:45pm-11:15pm. Rotating days off/weekends required
  • Demonstrated proficiency with interpersonal and writing skills.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Must have valid driver's license and qualify for Company's vehicle liability insurance.
  • Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks, CPS check, sex offender registry check, and drug screen.
