• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ substance abuse history and mental health status, ensuring all necessary client information is accurately captured.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address both addiction issues and any co-occurring mental health disorders, tailoring interventions specific to each client’s needs.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions employing recognized evidence-based treatment methodologies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure every client receives a holistic approach to their care.
• Educate clients and their families about the recovery process, helping to foster a supportive home environment that reinforces positive lifestyle changes.
• Maintain meticulous and accurate records of patient interactions and treatment processes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.
• Participate in scheduled team meetings and case reviews to discuss client progress, challenges, and treatment modifications needed for continued improvement.

You will primarily work with adult clients struggling with various substance use disorders, including but not limited to alcohol, opioids, and stimulants. Many clients may also present with co-occurring mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, or PTSD. Your role will be crucial in guiding them through evidence-based recovery strategies while fostering resilience and self-efficacy.

• A valid mental health license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD) is required.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field is essential.
• Experience or specialized training in addiction counseling is strongly preferred.
• Understanding of current evidence-based practices for treating substance abuse and mental health disorders.
• Strong therapeutic skills with the ability to inspire and motivate clients toward recovery.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a treatment team.

• Experience working in a telehealth setting is a plus, as we prioritize creating an engaging virtual therapy experience.

The annual salary for this full-time position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and credentials.
