Job description

Responsibilities

Provide oversight, leadership, and management for the daily operations of substance use disorder services and mental health services to ensure coordination of staff and clinical services and continuity of patient care. Provide clinical supervision to staff, students, and interns to facilitate development of clinical competency and ethical practice. Provide backup coverage and consultation in conjunction with other programs at the site.

  • Manage daily operations of both substance use disorder services and mental health services, assuring the services are delivered according to the standards of care and practice within the parameters established by the strategic plan and budget process.
  • Provide leadership and clinical supervision to direct reports while also providing interactions that support employee engagement. The clinical manager will work to achieve goals and action plans.
  • Provide effective business leadership, fiscal responsibility and monitoring of clinical documentation and billing to accomplish business goals.
  • Consistently attend and participate in leadership meetings, both on site and on national teams, as well as manage team projects and initiatives as they arise.
  • Represent Hazelden Betty Ford services to various audiences to ensure consistent knowledge of services, processes, and participation.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Completed certificate or degree program in addition counseling or equivalent
    • MN: LADC
  • Three or more years' experience in the substance use disorder or behavioral health treatment setting
  • One or more years of leadership experience and/or trainingand/or clinical supervision
  • Current CPR certification or obtain within 30 days.
    • Certification must be from American Red Cross or American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Addiction Studies or related field
  • LMHC, LMFC, LCSW, LPC, LPCC or related field licensure
  • Three or more years providing clinical supervision
