Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to understand each client’s history of substance use and mental health challenges, tailoring evaluations to inform treatment planning.
- Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that not only address addiction issues but also consider underlying mental health disorders for holistic care.
- Lead individual and group therapy sessions, employing methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI) to foster client engagement and success.
- Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and case managers, to create a seamless treatment experience for clients.
- Provide support and education to families of clients, encouraging their involvement in the recovery process and helping them understand addiction.

Qualifications- A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.
- A master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is mandatory.
- Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of evidence-based practices related to addiction and mental health will be essential.
- Proven therapeutic skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and inspire motivation in their recovery journey.
