• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ substance abuse history and overall mental health, ensuring individualized care based on initial findings.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that target both addiction and underlying mental health issues, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing methodologies that are proven to be effective in substance abuse rehabilitation.
• Collaborate actively with other treatment team members, including social workers, psychiatrists, and support staff, to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to client care.
• Educate and support clients’ families, fostering their involvement in the recovery process, which is crucial for sustainable recovery outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with health regulations and ethical standards, ensuring that all documentation reflects the comprehensive treatment provided.

In this role, you will work primarily with adults experiencing substance use disorders along with co-occurring mental health challenges. Your focus will be to support these individuals through structured therapy that addresses both their addiction and any accompanying psychological issues, which may include anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders.

• A valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in therapeutic practices.
• Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of substance abuse treatment methodologies.
• Strong therapeutic and counseling skills with an ability to motivate and empower clients to achieve their recovery goals.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, essential for working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

• At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting focusing on substance abuse and mental health.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and current treatment protocols concerning addiction and co-occurring disorders.
• A track record of success in helping clients achieve sustainable recovery outcomes.
