• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to accurately evaluate clients' substance abuse histories and mental health status.
• Formulate and develop personalized treatment plans that effectively address both addiction issues and any underlying mental health conditions.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.
• Maintain consistent collaboration with other treatment team members to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for clients, enhancing their chances of recovery.
• Provide education and support to clients' families, encouraging their active involvement in the treatment process to foster a stronger support system for the client.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in adherence to regulatory standards and organizational policies.

You will work primarily with clients who are facing substance use disorders, often in conjunction with co-occurring mental health challenges. This diverse population requires a holistic approach to treatment, and your role will be critical in guiding these individuals through their recovery journeys while addressing their mental health needs.

• A valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; however, candidates with a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline are preferred.
• Relevant specialized training or demonstrable experience in addiction counseling is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices related to substance abuse and co-occurring disorders is essential.
• Demonstrated therapeutic skills, with a proven ability to motivate and engage clients in their treatment.
• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.

We prefer candidates who have at least two years of experience in mental health counseling, particularly in settings focused on substance abuse treatment. Experience in facilitating therapeutic groups and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams will be viewed favorably.

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and credentials.
