Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to understand clients' individual histories regarding substance abuse and mental health challenges.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that target both addiction and underlying psychological concerns, ensuring a holistic approach to recovery.
• Facilitate effective individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.
• Collaborate closely with team members to provide integrated care, sharing insights and strategies to enhance client treatment.
• Educate and support clients’ families, encouraging their involvement in the recovery process to create a strong support system.
• Maintain meticulous and accurate records of client interactions and treatment plans in accordance with HIPAA and organizational regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Dynamic Restoration Counseling Services, you will work primarily with individuals dealing with substance use issues and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our client base includes diverse populations ranging from adolescents to adults, each with their unique challenges and backgrounds. Your expertise will be pivotal in guiding them through recovery, fostering resilience, and promoting sustainable lifestyle changes.

Qualifications

• A valid and active license in California as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field; candidates with a Master’s or Doctoral degree are preferred.
• Specialized training or a background in addiction counseling is required.
• Proficient knowledge of evidence-based practices for the treatment of substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
• Demonstrated therapeutic and counseling skills, along with the ability to inspire and motivate clients toward recovery.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling, particularly in addiction treatment.
• Experience utilizing telehealth platforms and engaging clients through virtual therapy sessions.
• Familiarity with community resources and referral systems to support clients in their recovery journey.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer an attractive benefits package, which includes:
