The Role

We are currently seeking a Senior Product Manager for our Platform Services organisation, which covers a broad product portfolio ranging from demo environments for sales, academy (training) and end client sandboxes, covering elements of infrastructure, shared services, application and data.ย  The client base reflects the broad portfolio, covering developers, designers and product managers in R&D, sales specialists, and end customers.

This is a highly visible domain within R&D as it directly impacts developer experience and efficiency, but also within Addepar as the commercial opportunity for Sandboxes to accelerate customer adoption and build product led revenue streams is significant.

Addepar takes a market-based approach to pay. A successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for roles in Colorado, California, and New York. The current range for this role is $178,000 - $223,000 (base salary) + bonus + equity + benefits.

What You'll Do

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Lead the prioritization of Platform Services' across multiple initiatives, aligning cross-functional stakeholders on a unified platform roadmap.
  • Execute the Platform Services product roadmap aligned with developer and end customer adoption and satisfaction
  • Design isolated testing environments with realistic test data, simulated workflows, and feature parity to production
  • Balance sandbox capabilities with security, cost, and resource management constraints

Sandbox Experience

  • Create frictionless onboarding experiences with clear documentation, test credentials, and quick setup
  • Build self-serve capabilities including API testing tools, CLI interfaces, and debugging dashboards

Platform & Infrastructure

  • Define usage limits, geographic restrictions, and environment refresh policies
  • Determine key capabilities upgrade to move configuration from sandbox/trial to production environments
  • Ensure sandbox environment stability, service level agreements, performance, and data isolation

Cross-functional Leadership

  • Partner with Engineering on technical architecture and implementation
  • Collaborate with Sales to agree commercial strategy, including pricing and understanding value propositions
  • Work build relationships with key R&D community, especially developers, to ensure community engagement and feedback loops
Who You Are

Experience

  • 5+ years in product management, preferably in developer tools, platform products, or API products
  • Proven track record managing technical products with developer/B2B audiences
  • Experience with product-led growth and self-serve adoption models

Technical Skills

  • Deep understanding of APIs, integration testing, and CI/CD workflows
  • Familiarity with sandbox/staging environment architectures
  • Ability to engage technically with engineering teams
  • Practical examples of usage of AI to automate systems and workflows

Product Skills

  • Strong analytical skills with experience defining and tracking KPIs (activation, engagement, conversion)
  • Ability to translate ambiguous developer needs into clear product requirements
  • Experience conducting user research with technical audiences
  • Ability to build defensible commercial models, tracking customer adoption rates and satisfaction
