In this role, you will contribute to researching, developing, validating, and bringing to market innovative ADAS technologies, collaborating closely with cross-functional engineering teams and global counterparts to deliver safe, high-quality, and user-focused systems for future vehicles.

Responsibilities
  • Plan the structure of ADAS parts and systems by defining performance targets, packaging concepts, electrical interfaces, and key parameters.
  • Follow established department processes to deliver error-free output for parts development, including parts lists, wire specifications, and part specifications.
  • Lead and support the identification, development, and integration of ADAS products for specified vehicle projects, aligning with project milestones and collaborating with related engineering groups.
  • Manage the development of ADAS components and systems through concurrent minor and major design changes, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Create, maintain, and track detailed part development schedules through to Start of Production (SOP).
  • Conduct schedule negotiations with the Automated & Electronics Systems department and suppliers to align timelines, resources, and deliverables.
  • Assess project risks and develop risk management activities to maintain performance, cost, mass, quality, and user experience targets, making proposals and recommendations for recovery when necessary.
  • Participate in evaluation and manufacturing activities at event locations, supporting on-site validation and issue resolution.
  • Communicate effectively with engineering staff at various design centers to coordinate ADAS development activities and share technical information.
