Job description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Special Education Teacher focused on serving students with moderate to severe needs. This full-time assignment covers a Maternity Leave from August 2024 through December 2026 in the Mission Viejo, CA area. As a dedicated SPED professional, you’ll help foster a supportive, inclusive classroom atmosphere, creating meaningful learning experiences for students who need your expertise most.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid CTC Certification in Moderate/Severe Special Education (required)
  • Proven experience with moderate/severe special education caseloads preferred
  • Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Strong skills in collaboration and communication with students, families, and colleagues
  • Commitment to creating an adaptive and nurturing environment for learners with diverse needs

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver effective instruction tailored to students with moderate/severe disabilities
