Job Description
Responsibilities include installation, configuration, customization, maintenance, performance tuning and vendor escalation for ADABAS and related products. In addition, the group maintains and upgrades the mainframe programming language environment (Natural) and associated development environment and tools. The engineering team is responsible for Engineering level support of the ADABAS product suite and requires exceptional problem solving and analytical skills.
Qualifications
• Exceptional ADABAS skills and experience (V7.4.4 and above) Internals / Fundamentals / Installation / Operations
• ADABAS Cluster Services and Parallel Services configurations experience
• FASTPATH configurations experience
• VISTA translations and expanded files configuration experience
• ADABAS Net-Work configuration experience
• Assembler knowledge and coding skills
• Strong Natural experience both in working with Natural and Installing Natural. Natural V4 Internals required.
• Predict, Entire System Server, Natural ISPF, Natural DB2 experience required.
• MVS z/OS concepts and fundamentals experience.
• Strong JES2 JCL experience
• CICS environment knowledge.
• SAS coding knowledge.
• Project Management skills.
• Knowledge of Windows products such as Word, excel etc

Weekend work and on-call rotation required
After hours work required on as needed basis for problem escalation
