Key responsibilities

  • Serve as House Supervisor on weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Job description

Responsibilities
  • Accountable for 24-hour management of the rehab program.
  • Responsible for organizational planning, and the clinical rehab nursing practice which includes assessing, planning, implementing and supervising patient care and professional growth.
  • Supervises 40-50 employees on day, evening and night shifts.
  • Collaborates with other professional disciplines in developing and implementing clinical rehabilitation programs.
  • House Supervisor on weekends (once every eight weeks) and occasional holidays.
Qualifications
  • Progressive experience in clinical rehabilitation nursing and nursing management.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing required, Masters preferred.
  • Certification in rehabilitation nursing (or obtained as soon as eligible) NYS license required.
  • Strong clinical, leadership, and management skills; good interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships; a high level of initiative and creative problem‑solving ability.
