Job description

Local CDLFeedhaul Driver
(When needed, may also drive for Live Haul or Hatchery) Pay
  • Trainee Pay: $24.45 per hour
  • After Training: $27.42 per hour or piece rate
Schedule
  • Hours: 4:00 PM - 4:00 AM (Nights)
  • Training Schedule: Monday - Friday (Days)
  • After Training:
    • Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday (Nights)
  • Holidays: Required to work
Job Description
This position is responsible for operating a commercial vehicle to haul feed to Tyson growers while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Applicants will be considered for the Feedhaul Driver position only. The Feedhaul Driver is responsible for ensuring a high-quality feed delivery.

Job Requirements
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Must have at least one year of driving experience
  • Must possess a valid Class A CDL
  • Must pass a background check prior to placement
  • Must have a clear and satisfactory CDL record
  • Must meet all Tyson and DOT driving specifications
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours and complete required log books
  • Must pass a DOT drug test Urine and Follicleand physical and be subject to random testing
  • Must be willing to lift 40 lbs occasionally
  • Must be willing to work in and be exposed to outside temperatures and environments
  • Must be able to sit for 8 to 10 hours per day
  • Must be willing to grasp, grip, twist, pull, bend, and stoop occasionally
