Job description

Who We Are

Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers offering a full continuum of care, including detox, residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient services. We believe recovery is possible for everyone, and our compassionate team is dedicated to helping individuals rebuild their lives in a supportive, modern environment.

At Avenues, our people make the difference. If you're looking for meaningful work where your contributions truly matter, we'd love to meet you.

About the Role

Avenues Recovery is seeking an Operations Coordinator to support facility leadership and help keep the day-to-day operations of our treatment center running efficiently.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys staying organized, takes initiative, and finds satisfaction in seeing projects through from start to finish. You'll coordinate a wide range of operational and administrative responsibilities, helping ensure priorities stay on track, communication flows effectively, and nothing falls through the cracks.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with facility leadership, gain valuable exposure to healthcare operations, and play an important role in supporting the teams that make recovery possible. While this is a support role rather than a decision-making position, it provides firsthand insight into how a treatment center operates and offers exceptional learning opportunities for someone looking to grow professionally.

What You'll Do
  • Coordinate calendars, meetings, and scheduling for facility leadership
  • Track action items and ensure follow-up through completion
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Assist with payroll processing and administrative reporting
  • Coordinate transportation, vendor visits, inventory, and facility logistics
  • Maintain operational reports, trackers, and documentation
  • Provide administrative and operational support to leadership and assist with special projects
  • Help maintain an organized, efficient office environment
  • Complete other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

  • Is highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Takes initiative and follows through on commitments
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
  • Communicates professionally and builds positive working relationships
  • Is comfortable collaborating with team members across multiple departments
  • Demonstrates discretion, accountability, and integrity
  • Enjoys learning and wants to better understand how a healthcare operation functions

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of administrative, operations, HR, executive assistant, or coordinator experience preferred
  • Healthcare experience is a plus, but not required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace preferred

Why Join Us?

In addition to competitive compensation and generous PTO, eligible employees receive:
