About the Role:
Docere Integrated Medicine PLLC is looking for a skilled and passionate Acupuncturist for an immediate opening to join our integrative healthcare team in Auburn, WA. This is an exciting opportunity to practice evidence-informed acupuncture in a collaborative, whole-person care environment where your expertise truly makes a difference in patients' lives.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive patient intake assessments, including health history reviews and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized acupuncture treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
  • Administer acupuncture treatments using sterile needle techniques and adjunct therapies such as cupping, moxibustion, and gua sha
  • Collaborate with physicians, naturopaths, and other integrative medicine practitioners to coordinate patient care
  • Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and progress notes in compliance with clinic standards
  • Educate patients on treatment protocols, lifestyle modifications, and wellness strategies
  • Stay current with continuing education requirements and emerging research in acupuncture and integrative medicine
Requirements:
  • Master's degree or higher in Acupuncture or Oriental Medicine from an accredited institution
  • Current Washington State Acupuncture license (or eligibility to obtain licensure)
  • NCCAOM board certification preferred
  • Experience with TCM diagnosis, acupuncture point selection, and adjunct modalities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary integrative medicine team
  • CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
