Job description

Cincinnati is a new market for this growing pain management practice — and this NP or PA role is one of its first hires here. You'd provide specialized pain and palliative care to geriatric SNF residents, following the same patients over time, managing medications, and building treatment plans that actually address chronic pain in a population that rarely gets that level of attention. $60–$100/hour plus productivity bonus. New graduates welcome. Malpractice with tail coverage included. More positions coming as the practice expands.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive pain assessments including history, physical exam, and source and severity identification
  • Build individualized treatment plans for acute and chronic pain
  • Prescribe and manage pain medications per state and federal regulations
  • Coordinate referrals for physical therapy, acupuncture, spinal blocks, and interventional care
  • Educate patients and families on pain management strategies
  • Collaborate with physicians and facility providers; monitor outcomes and adjust plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation in TEBRA and PointClickCare


Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted Ohio NP or PA license
  • AGACNP-BC, AGPCNP-BC, FNP-BC, or PA-C certification
  • Fully onsite; comfortable traveling between Cincinnati area facilities
  • New graduates welcome; 5+ years relevant RN experience also counts
  • Background in geriatrics, SNF, palliative care, or pain management preferred
  • TEBRA or PointClickCare experience a plus


Schedule & Compensation

  • $60–$100/hour + productivity bonus | ~$115,200–$192,000/year
  • Full-time | Schedule varies by facility and caseload
  • Onsite at Cincinnati area skilled nursing facilities
  • Malpractice with tail coverage included
  • Structured onboarding program
  • Note: Licensure costs are the candidate's responsibility; no sign-on or relocation
