Job description

Our client, a growth-oriented organization, is seeking a proactive and strategic IT Manager to lead their technology operations. This is a hands-on leadership role designed for a professional who excels at infrastructure management, cybersecurity, and driving major enterprise software initiatives.

Overview

The I.T. Manager will serve as a key business partner, overseeing all technology functions—from high-level roadmap development to day-to-day problem-solving. A primary focus for this position will be leading the end-to-end implementation and optimization of Acumatica ERP to streamline business processes.

Key Areas of Impact

  • ERP Leadership: Lead the planning, configuration, and rollout of Acumatica ERP across the organization.
  • Business Partnership: Collaborate with department heads to translate business requirements into effective Acumatica workflows and reporting solutions.
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop the annual I.T. roadmap and budget while evaluating emerging technologies to drive operational efficiency.
  • Infrastructure & Security: Manage servers, cloud platforms, and networks while enforcing robust cybersecurity protocols, including MFA, VPNs, and disaster recovery.
  • Team Development: Mentor and lead a team of I.T. professionals, fostering a culture of responsiveness and high-quality user support.
  • Project Management: Execute technology initiatives, such as system upgrades and cloud migrations, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience: 7–10 years of progressive I.T. experience, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory capacity.
  • ERP Proficiency: Direct experience with ERP implementation (Mid-tier ERP like: Acumatica, NetSuite, MS Dynamics, Infor, etc.)
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in I.T., Computer Science, or a related field (equivalent experience considered).
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong background in Windows server environments, virtualization, cloud platforms, and networking.
  • Communication: Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical senior leadership and stakeholders.
