Job description

Location: Remote
Reports To: Director of Operations
Compensation: $100,000 USD – $130,000 USD annually
Who We Are
At UE Systems we believe that every person, regardless of their industry, company size, experience, or budget, should have the tools and support to help their facilities operate more efficiently, reliably, and safely. We do this by providing a portfolio of ultrasound solutions designed to be versatile and simple to use.

Since 1973, we have helped thousands of customers across the world prevent equipment failures, identify energy losses, and return home safe to their families. We are continuing to grow as we build a more disciplined, globally connected operating system to support our customers and our next stage of growth.

About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on enterprise leader to design and deliver the systems that connect how UE sells, plans, buys, builds, ships, services, and reports. Your first mandate is to establish trustworthy open-order and inventory visibility in Acumatica, map the current operating environment, and define a scalable global model that can work across one or multiple ERPs and connect cleanly to Finance and the rest of our business systems.

This role is ideal for someone who can move from current-state discovery to future-state design and then execute through adoption. You will bring proven business-systems practices, communicate complex issues clearly, challenge weak requirements, and turn recommendations into measurable operating results.

Our People
They Own Their Day:
We do not micro-manage. Our team understands the outcome, makes disciplined decisions, and communicates early when priorities, risks, or constraints change.

They Believe in a Team Approach: No one is expected to be a master of everything. We rely on each other, bring different strengths to the table, and build better systems together.

They Always Look Through a Customer Lens: Every process we build should make it easier to serve the customer accurately, reliably, and on time.

Your Impact

  • Deliver reliable open-order and inventory visibility in Acumatica, supported by clear ownership, controls, and decision-ready reporting.
  • Map UE’s systems, processes, data flows, integrations, and workarounds; design scalable future-state processes across order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory, warehousing, repairs/RMAs, and finance.
  • Own the enterprise systems strategy, architecture, and roadmap, including recommendations for one or multiple ERPs and the integration of ERP, CRM, shipping, BI, finance, and other core platforms.
  • Lead transformation initiatives end to end—from business case, requirements, and prioritization through change-impact assessment, data migration, testing, cutover, training, adoption, and stabilization.
  • Establish practical governance for master data, reporting definitions, access, change control, documentation, and system and process ownership.
  • Translate complex issues into clear options, trade-offs, recommendations, and decisions for executives and frontline users; drive alignment without waiting for perfect consensus.
  • Manage implementation partners, scope, budgets, milestones, delivery quality, and knowledge transfer, while measuring whether each initiative produces the intended business outcome.

Your Experience

  • 8+ years of progressive business-systems, ERP, or operations-technology experience, including ownership of at least one significant transformation from discovery through stable adoption.
  • Demonstrated strength in current-state process mapping, future-state operating-model design, and applying proven practices rather than simply digitizing existing workarounds.
  • Strong understanding of inventory, order management, manufacturing or distribution workflows, master data, systems integration, and the operational transactions that flow into Finance.
  • Experience integrating ERP with finance, CRM, shipping or warehouse platforms, reporting tools, and external partners or systems.
  • Clear executive and frontline communication: able to facilitate structured discovery, present recommendations, document decisions, and escalate risks early.
  • A consistent record of execution, including prioritization, project planning, issue resolution, testing, change leadership, and delivery of measurable results.

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience with Acumatica and ShipStation.
  • Experience designing global, multi-entity, or multi-ERP operating environments.
  • Background in manufacturing, distribution, service/repair, or connected industrial solutions.
  • Experience with BI, APIs, integration platforms, or low-code automation.

Why Join Us?
We offer the typical benefits you would expect, including dental, vision, health insurance, paid time off, and retirement contributions. More importantly, this is a chance to help build the operating foundation for a company that is transforming how it serves customers globally. The right person will have a visible impact on inventory accuracy, customer delivery, warehouse discipline, and the scalability of UE Systems’ operations.
