As the Leader of Market Access function, acting on behalf of Sandoz UK across our Bio, Specialty, as a single point of contact for National and Regional payers with the ownership and responsibility of pre tender engagement, horizon scanning and LRR readiness for future Therapeutic Areas's but also on-market products requiring continued market access support through life cycle management across the entire portfolio.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

SPOC for national payers

  • Present the challenges across Sandoz Ta's and links opportunities to tangible benefits within the disease area

  • Takes European policy and positioning papers to educate and inform national payers on improved adoption and benefits of Bio and GX

  • Leads of National guideline implementation and shaping for Bio and GX across TAs

  • Actively provides region and Global on updated policies / timelines such as pharmacy substitution adoption at country level

  • Active member and representation of Sandoz at Industry group level

Subject matter expert on National health care system

  • Synthesises the changes in health environment and policy and educates commercial organisation on future challenges and opportunities.

Horizon scanning and face of Sandoz

  • Educates National payers of future horizon scanning and promotes Sandoz sustainability strategy to build trust and confidence in our company and as brand

Identify HEOR activities at a national level across Therapy Areas:

  • Identifies areas of mutual interest with national payers to address HEOR and RWE generation across Sandoz TAs

Mapping National pathway and treatment pathway for new TA

  • Maps National payer stakeholders, government, patient groups and Industry working groups

Ensure tender shaping at a national level

  • Responsible for shaping procurement policy at a national level in line with Sandoz CSR activities

  • Non-Tender: value communication, HEOR data communication identification, sustainability

  • Keep abreast of all developments within NHS, e.g., CCGs, ICSs, AHSNs, procurement frameworks

  • Drive the development and delivery of a tender strategy for each product, in consultation with cross-functional team

  • Ensure tracking of market intelligence and tender performance, focusing on brand impact

What you'll bring to the role:

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Health Economics, Pharmacy, Public Health, Business, or a related field.

  • Advanced degree preferred, such as MSc in Health Economics, Public Health, Pharmacy, MBA, or other relevant postgraduate qualification.

  • 10+ years of experience in Market Access within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or generics industry, including significant experience interacting with national-level payer bodies.

  • Demonstrated track record of leading national market access strategy, including pretender engagement, horizon scanning, LRR readiness, and policy shaping.

  • Extensive knowledge of the UK healthcare system, including NHS structures (CCGs/ICSs/AHSNs), procurement frameworks, and national guideline development.

  • Proven experience in HEOR, RWE generation, and value communication to national payer audiences.

  • Experience influencing or shaping national procurement/tender policy and delivering measurable outcomes at regional and national levels.

  • Strong stakeholder relationship and negotiation skills, particularly with national payers, government bodies, patient groups, and industry associations.

  • Leadership experience managing crossfunctional teams, and collaborating closely with regional KAMs to build integrated account plans.

  • Experience representing an organisation at national industry groups or policy forums, acting as a strategic external face of the company.
