Job Summary
As a Seasonal Actor at our attractions and special events, you will play a pivotal role in delivering electrifying, immersive, and memorable experiences for every guest. You will fully embody your assigned character, performing with energy and authenticity to evoke genuine thrills, excitement, and engagement. Working collaboratively with fellow cast and crew, you will help maintain a consistently immersive environment, ensuring every visitor leaves with unforgettable memories.

Key Responsibilities

Performance and Character Immersion

  • Inhabit your assigned character fully, maintaining a consistent and authentic persona whenever visible to guests.

  • Use strong improvisational skills to engage spontaneously and convincingly with guests.

  • Adjust your performance in real time based on guest reactions and supervisor feedback.

Guest Experience and Interaction

  • Deliver well-timed scares or character interactions to guide guest flow and maintain pacing.

  • Incorporate creative adlibbing and unscripted moments to create personalized guest experiences.

  • Use voice, physicality, and stage presence to support the story and heighten excitement.

Attraction- or Event-Specific Performance

  • Tailor performance style to the specific theme, storyline, and atmosphere of your assigned area or maze.

  • Integrate props, set pieces, and environmental effects into your performance safely and effectively.

Teamwork and Adaptability

  • Take direction from supervisors and adapt to role changes based on event needs and guest volume.

  • Communicate and collaborate with fellow actors, operations, and technical staff to support smooth, high-quality show operations.

Safety and Compliance

  • Remain alert to safety concerns, guest issues, or policy violations and report them promptly.

Position Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of hire.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility will be verified through E-Verify.

  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.

  • Comfortable working in dark, loud, and themed environments with strobe effects, fog, and close guest interaction.

This is a seasonal position tied to select events produced by Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group. Employment is at-will, and there is no guarantee of continued or repeat employment in future seasons or events.
