Job description

Mouse Trap Haunted Attraction is seeking energetic, dependable, and enthusiastic scare actors to bring our haunted houses to life during the 2026 Halloween season.

No previous haunted house experience is required. We are looking for people who enjoy performing, interacting with guests, and creating unforgettable scares in a safe and professional environment. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Perform as an assigned horror character each night
  • Stay in character throughout your shift
  • Follow safety procedures and supervisor instructions
  • Work with makeup artists and costume staff
  • Arrive on time and ready for rehearsal and opening
  • Help create a fun and memorable guest experience

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old (or your preferred minimum age)
  • Reliable transportation
  • Comfortable working evenings and weekends
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
  • Acting or performance experience is a plus but not required

Schedule

  • Seasonal Position
  • October 1 – October 31, 2026
  • Evening and weekend shifts available

Pay

Competitive hourly pay based on experience and role.
