Job Summary:
We are seeking an energetic team player to fill the role of Recreation Specialist - Activities & Ocean Fitness. The primary responsibility of this position is to coordinate and execute various activities programs and events, including Holiday Highlights, and group events. The Recreation Specialist will engage with guests, supervise children, organize outdoor and indoor activities. Candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute activities and special events.
- Ensure the Seaside Family Entertainment Center is well-maintained, with clean toys, properly set up games, and anticipating guests' needs.
- Execute daily entertainment programs and scheduled special events according to instructions.
- Oversee the Ocean Fitness facility, greet guests, assist with fitness classes setup, maintain cleanliness, stock supplies, and ensure guest safety by monitoring equipment usage.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in organizing and executing recreational activities.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with children and guests in a positive manner.
- Knowledge of safety protocols for recreational activities.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and contribute positively to group dynamics.
