Estate Landscaping & Lawn Maintenance, LLC is a trusted leader in landscaping and grounds maintenance, known for its commitment to quality service and a supportive team environment. As a Mechanic Helper, you will play a vital role in keeping the company’s fleet and equipment running smoothly. This position offers hands-on experience with a variety of vehicles and machinery, opportunities for professional growth, and the chance to work alongside experienced mechanics in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with scheduled preventative maintenance, including inspections, vehicle winterization, and ensuring all safety gear, registrations, and manuals are up to date.
  • Perform basic to intermediate mechanical repairs on company trucks, automobiles, and field equipment under the supervision of the Head Mechanic.
  • Accurately log labor and parts used in repairs into tracking software.
  • Help manage parts inventory, maintain essential stock levels, and organize shop supplies for daily operations.
  • Monitor fleet activity using GPS tracking systems and support logistics by serving as a secondary driver for material deliveries and equipment mobilization.
  • Participate in weekly safety meetings and follow all company safety protocols.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
  • Engage in ongoing training and complete required continuing education hours annually.
Qualifications
  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience as a mechanic or mechanic’s assistant.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Fully bilingual in Spanish and English is always a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Proficiency with, or willingness to learn, digital inventory and GPS fleet tracking software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
