Job description

A Nursing Director of Behavioral Health is needed in West Palm Beach, FL, to lead a 124-bed behavioral health unit within a 280-bed acute care hospital.
The role. Reporting through hospital leadership, the Director holds full accountability for the daily operations, quality improvement initiatives, fiscal performance, and productivity of the behavioral health department. This leader plans, organizes, and directs the delivery of patient care across the unit while serving as a primary liaison between patients and their representatives, physicians, and staff. The Director is responsible for staff performance management and ensuring all departmental activities align with safety, regulatory, and policy requirements. A strong focus on resource utilization — maximizing productivity while managing costs — is central to this position.
What we're looking for.
• Bachelor's Degree Required
• Masters Degree must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Basic Cardiac Life Support
• Fingerprint Required
• Minimum of 5 Years Required of Dir BH Experience or a seasoned Mgr with 5+ years in a current acute care setting will be considered
